Corridor Studies & Roadway Design

Experienced with a variety of jurisdictional requirements and roadway types, our planners and design engineers take a studied approach to creating new roadways and restoring existing streets and other transportation facilities to better accommodate the active transportation modes.  We are thoroughly versed in the AASHTO's Policy on the Geometric Design of Highways and Streets, the Roadside Design Guide, and the Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities(co-edited by our staff).  Guided by this vital knowledge, we create designs for streets and roads that are effective and safe, serve a variety of users, and are harmonious with their environment.
